What is Lamictal Dispersible?
Lamictal Dispersible is a popular anticonvulsant drug. It prescribed for the treatment of certain types of seizures and mood problems including Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, mania (frenzied or abnormally excited mood), epilepsy, depression and bipolar disorder.

- folate deficiency
- suicidal thoughts, plans, or attempt; a previous suicide attempt by you or a family member

- pregnancy, breastfeeding or planning to become pregnant
How to take Lamictal Dispersible?
Lamictal Dispersible comes in chewable tablet form to take orally. It should be taken usually 200–900 mg per day divided into two doses, at regular intervals. The chewable tablet must be chewed or dissloved in water before swallowing. Do not swallow a chewable tablet whole. It is important to drink several glasses of water each day while you are taking Lamictal Dispersible to protect your kidneys. The dosage may vary among individuals. It is obviously to contact your doctor before taking this medicament. Follow your physician’s instructions carefully.
What should be done if I missed the dose?
In case you forgot to take the dose, take it at your earliest opportunity. Never double your dose if it is almost time for your next dose. Take only one dose at once.
Taking any medicine in excess you can have serious consequences for your health. If you are overdosed visit your health care provider immediately.
In large doses, Lamictal Dispersible may give rise to increased seizures, rolling eyeballs, lack of coordination, delayed heartbeat, coma or decreased level of consciousness.

How should Lamictal Dispersible be stored?
Lamictal Dispersible should be stored at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F), in a tightly closed container. Protect from moisture, direct heat, and light. Do not store in the bathroom or near a sink. Keep Lamictal Dispersible out of the reach of children and away from animals.
